Young Adult Fiction A group of middle school students responsible for creating the annual yearbook struggle to come to terms with a school shooting Invisible YearThis book takes a very interesting approach to looking at what happens at the school after a school shooting We have heard about so many of them on the news in the last several years but no one ever seems to think about what happens afterwards Except of course the people who lived through it What do you do as adults to try to piece back together the innocence of these kids What do the kids do to ever feel safe walking school halls again This book shows that they all need to have open communication if they will ever heal which is the one thing they don t seem to have at all I think this book would be an equally important read for teenagers and adults The end of the book is left open for interpretation.
