Heartbeat pub Suspend your disbelieve for this one and it becomes a cute and quick read with just a splash of angst and some pretty hot scenes between the main characters As for the chemistry between Amy and Jocelyn I didn t really feel it Maybe it s because in some scenes the characters just felt a little immature like in the car when Amy and Jocelyn get into an argument. Heartbeat vs renderstepped The novel is a great improvement over the novella that described the initial meeting in Vegas It isn t plagued by the same narration errors slipping into first person from third person and has fewer though not zero improbable plot lines The characters especially Amy are endearing The sex scenes unfortunately aren t much better than they were in the novella slit is used far too much But it was overall enjoyable. Heartbeat medallia ihg I will say though it was a bit sweet for my taste and I wasn t crazy about the marketing trick at the end that only entitles you to the Epilogue if you sign up for the author s email list But hey in this era of self publishing you gotta do what you gotta do The epilogue is predictable and strains credulity so if you re not hungering for it it s worth a pass.
