Hollywood Murder Mysteries: THE MASKED MARAUDER MURDER MYSTERY By David S. Hager

Hollywood murder mystery books I like the author s writing style it s a bit reminiscent of Dashiell Hammett with its straight forwarded fact Kindle Edition So this one kept me up late one night to finish it I d started it two or three times previously and always seemed to get pulled away because of work or other things So on a recent business trip to Toronto I took my iPad determined to read it and started the minute we backed away from the gate Within the first 35 minutes I was hooked Lots of plot twists and turns some VERY interesting characters and a good story Initially I did struggle with keeping track of some of the characters but they show up enough after their initial introduction that it all comes together nicely I really enjoyed this book it was written very much in the style of the paperback detective novels that I ve read from the 1940s which I believe was the writer s intent I was not really prepared for the ending or some of the racy parts that I totally didn t expect but it was well worth the read I got about halfway through it on the plane and when I got to my hotel room later that day I picked it back up and finished it read for 3 solid hours I just received installment 2 of this same series here s to hoping that there are many many Nicely done Mr Hager Would love to see this be made into a movie Save me a part Kindle Edition
