This book was very heavy going not at all pop science reader friendly although the author putting in references to Mariah Carey John Paul George and Ringo etc obviously thought it was The information especially about sound was presented as though someone had taken a text book and was trying to explain it to students leaving in all the information but being a bit explanatory When the author was talking about smell how the Peacock butterfly attracted males and how we have pheremones too I finally gave up It s not that I m not interested in the information it s that the book is so not enjoyable to read So on pheremones But let s look at what the math actually solves in these experiments and we should be able to understand the repercussions of the study For the thirty odorant mixtures there are 1.
