Historical Fiction I liked Greg and Alex as characters They were definitely worth reading about Greg is a CEO of a drilling company and Alexander is an archaeologist Opposites attract They are electric with each other I liked this story because of its interesting location and characters Greece is a beautiful and historic place to set the story It is kind of romantic in its own way I think that the author keeps getting better and better as he goes along He puts romance in unique and interesting places I think that this story was a fun way to spend a few hours. Jerry Cole is a gay author who lives in California enjoys writing love stories Jerry has been writing fiction since he was a child As a young adult he worked as a freelance writer in the evenings on weekends Jerry started writing gay romance stories several years ago but initially just for his own entertainment occasionally sharing stories with his friends In the summer of 2015 he published his first gay romance short story on Overwhelmed by the positive response he decided to quit his day job took up writing gay romance full time When he s not writing steamy M M romance he enjoys globetrotting watching movies with family and friends working out this story was slow building I stuck it out until it got to the sensual parts and I quite enjoyed it I ve always liked characters who came off as good guys and Greg and Alex both are that even if their actions sometimes seemed not to be Alex passion for his city was heartening and he really sold me. The Road Least Traveled Historical fictional Alex s an archaeologist and has taught as a professor of history He has a deep love for the ruins of Greece not only above but mostly what could be found below the surface He had strong beliefs as to where a certain palace housed the sister of Alexander the Great and that she had brought him back to his final resting place within the palace Greg Marsh joint CEO with Marty Wiseman for a company called Turbo Metro Drilling TMD The president of the company Richard Dwyer bought and improved a tunnel boring machine The machine can bore through millions of tons of rocks and soil and creates a path of cement for subway lines mine shafts oil wells and thousands of other uses a city may want for a tunnel. Book the road less traveled MTD had been hired by the Greek government to place metro transportation underground for the citizens of Thessaloniki in Northern Greece Everything had been going well in the beginning then activists had started protesting and vandalizing the site making it impossible for MTD s team to push the machine called Betty any further They spend most of their day knocking down cement walls and finding their equipment that would be scattered throughout the city. The road least travelled Greg s partner Marty was at his wits end with dealing with local police and security Greg decides to let Marty come home and he would fly over and deal with the messes that were delaying progress Greg is very dedicated to his work as well as his daughter Molly and ex Sarah with co parenting When Greg arrives in Greece he immediately looks into the problems Arriving at the site Greg finds the local police had created a crime scene that protestors had left behind Greg s dealings with Commander Niko Virkakis to get the proper security and a meeting with Secretary General Costas Dimitiriou had cost him money that went into the Commander s pocket That was the one thing Greg learned quickly was you had to pay extra to get anything done.
