Road to Eugenica is so different from other books that I have read I couldn t put it down Such an amazing journey and an ending that will have you counting down the days for the next installment of the series Young Adult Science Fiction What an exciting and adventurous journey through love betrayal and sacrifice I really enjoyed reading about Drea and her tragic journey to finding out who she really is Plus the romance was a big part of me liking it too What would you do if one day you wake up with extraordinary powers of strength and knowledge Drea doesn t know what to do and on top of that she loses her father and has two boys tearing her in two separate directions Will she trust herself to pick the right path My only complaint about the book is that it took a little bit for the story to pick up but despite all the detail it ended up really helping the storyline and giving me the feels I would recommend this book to any young adult reader who enjoys sci fi fantasy with a healthy dose of romance and mystery. Book road to eugenica pdf The main character Alexandrea aka Drea has a coming into her own journey that digs into contemporary and sci fi issues and takes her from the surfing domain of California to the tangled brush of Nevada Every scene where she tests her new abilities could fit the song I Am Woman by Jordin Sparks and every suspenseful part could fit the following gifs was absorbing to watch Drea transform not only physically but mentally from a back seat kind of person to someone who grabs the steering wheel And her romantic subplot does involve a wish fulfillment kind of love triangle that sometimes made my eye twitch P but the chemistry Drea shares with either guy doesn t make her forget about discovering what she is and how she s going to survive against an alternate dimension that will find her. Book Road to eugenically meaning I m so glad I tried this debut YA sci fi novel The concept sounded so fascinating that I could resist It really hits its stride about a fifth of the way in so don t be discouraged by the slower pace it takes in the beginning It takes a little time to get going but once it does you won t want to put it down I particularly enjoyed solving the mystery with Drea Dylan and Maddox and all of the twists and turns that come at us I also particularly liked the sci fi elements which we don t see often enough in YA I d go on but I d be getting deep into spoiler territory In my opinion the weakest aspect of this story is love triangle but then again love triangles usually aren t a favorite but it s handled here pretty well We get a good sense of all three characters in fact that some of the reveals about these characters leave me absolutely dying for . Road to eugenica book pdf ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review Young Adult Science Fiction I loved the premise of this Drea goes from an ordinary teenager to a girl with the knowledge of an encyclopedia in a day and that s just the beginning of the strange things that drop into her life Her world is turned upside down and she s torn between two boys and the need to uncover the secrets surrounding her life This debut novel is full of twists and turns plenty of romance and an ending that won t disappoint Young Adult Science Fiction It s hard to be surprised any but this book is so unique I became engrossed almost immediately High school senior Drea has resigned herself to the friend zone with the attractive athletic Dylan but when a gorgeous new boy enters the scene Drea s world begins to change Maddox is all about her but just as things begin to get interesting with new guy tragedy strikes Suddenly strange things begin to happen to Drea She can remember anything She can destroy it on Jeopardy And physically things are different too The anti athlete can suddenly play sports and her body can heal unnaturally fast Then Drea s mother reveals a shocking secret and the story takes off in a wonderfully unexpected direction If you like sci fi and adventure in your YA read this book It s surprising exciting romantic and left me eager for the next installment Young Adult Science Fiction I have mixed feelings about the Road to Eugenica It was so outside the box and not what I expected I was hooked on every page because I wanted to find out what was happening but also a little scared to keep reading Alexandrea seems like an ordinary girl She s in love with her best friend and trying her best to tackle high school The day a new boy Maddox starts school everything starts to get a little strange She can suddenly understand and speak foreign languages She isn t struggling with her education and she seems to know things she hasn t learnt Dylan her best friend has always been a big part of her life but the new boy has caught her eye Alexandrea s life is about to get crazy and not in a good way Her happy bubble is about to be popped and there is no going back Nothing is what it seems No one can be trusted She wants answers but her life may be in danger Road to Eugenica is a suspense mystery like no other Two dimensions and one link It s strange and interesting It s like nothing else I ve read There will be a sequel to this book and the next book will make or break this story 3.
