It s like the author was trying to add too many tropes to the plot which made the story entirely too predictable Still it s a sweet story if you want to switch off your brain for a while and just escape into the world the author created This review is also based on the prequel Leap of FaithThere is also an epilogue available when you sign up for the authors mailing list which I chose not to do 239 A cute readSo this is the story of resident surgeon Jocelyn and intern surgeon Amy who had a one night date stand in Vegas and months later find themselves in the same hospital boss employee type deal The story is nothing new and obstacles are very easily overcome with not much build up or angst But.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review This is a new author for me. Book heartstopper I started with the first book in the series Leap of Faith which tells the story of Jocelyn Amy meeting and their one night together in Vegas Right away I started reading Heartbeat which picks up later after the two have parted ways and meet again The connection between the Jocelyn Amy is electric They came alive right away and I wanted to keep reading to see what was going to happen The storyline is very well written The characters are likeable Overall I am very pleased with the writing content. EPub heartbeat sensor I will continue to read books by Everly Keep writing 239 This was basically f f Grey s Anatomy fanfiction but I m not totally mad about it 239 Grey s Anatomy fanfic There was also a requirement to sign up for Everly James email list to get the epilogue I skipped that 239 Great storyI really enjoyed reading this story and found the characters charming I highly recommend this book and well look for by this author 239 After a steamy and fun filled night in Vegas both Jocelyn and Amy are shocked that they ve ended up in the same hospital in the same small Montana town The problem is that Jocelyn is a Senior Resident and supervisor of a group of 13 interns one of which is Amy And the hospital has a strict no fraternizing policy. Book heart emoji The novel is a great improvement over the novella that described the initial meeting in Vegas It isn t plagued by the same narration errors slipping into first person from third person and has fewer though not zero improbable plot lines The characters especially Amy are endearing The sex scenes unfortunately aren t much better than they were in the novella slit is used far too much But it was overall enjoyable. Heartbeat facebook I will say though it was a bit sweet for my taste and I wasn t crazy about the marketing trick at the end that only entitles you to the Epilogue if you sign up for the author s email list But hey in this era of self publishing you gotta do what you gotta do The epilogue is predictable and strains credulity so if you re not hungering for it it s worth a pass. Book heart emoji Suspend your disbelieve for this one and it becomes a cute and quick read with just a splash of angst and some pretty hot scenes between the main characters As for the chemistry between Amy and Jocelyn I didn t really feel it Maybe it s because in some scenes the characters just felt a little immature like in the car when Amy and Jocelyn get into an argument. Book heartbreak The story also felt rushed its a cute happy read with few grammatical errors and a nice ending Plus free on kindle So got a few hours to spend and looking for something easy with no strings attachedgive it a spin 239 I enjoyed reading this book It s a great love story 239 Loved it A lot of tears the number is thirteen a sexy beast violating rules confrontations a reconnection a betrayal great interactions wonderful characters and all this together gives a gorgeous love story and it is well executed P.
